Possible oscillations of the KNO scaling and the leading-particle effect

Extending the ideas of Koba-Nielsen-Olesen (KNO) and combining them with the data on deep inelastic muon-proton scattering at the cms energy $\sqrt{s}$ from about 4 up to $\rm 20\; GeV$, we are led to the conclusion that the KNO scaling might reveal oscillations. Data on the scattering of muons on deuterons (while $8 \leq \sqrt{s} \leq 30\; \rm GeV$) as well as on the proton-proton and proton-antiproton collisions (in the range of $\sqrt{s}$ from about 11 up to $\rm 900\;GeV$) are also compatible with that phenomenon.
