Abstract
Spectra of coincident charged particles from the reactions induced by a 18
beam incident on the
and 7Li targets were measured. A strong contribution to the
-d spectrum may be interpreted as the
quasi-free scattering off the deuteron in the
nucleus. This would then be the first observation of the quasi-free scattering of fragile radioactive nuclei on clusters in target nuclei.
