Diaz-Guilera described in an impressive letter how one can perform
the renormalization group analysis in the presence of the singular
Heaviside step function [CITE]. The latter
enters inevitably when one derives coarse-grained Langevin equations
for the various cellular-automaton algorithms arising in the study of
self-organized criticality [CITE], [CITE].
