A rotating ferrofluid submitted to an alternating magnetic field perpendicular to the vorticity of the flow exhibits a transverse magnetization. In the low-field regime, a magneto-vortical resonance of the transverse susceptibility is observed. The broader the distribution of the characteristic times in the sample, the sharper the observed resonance.
