Experimental data of velocity fields
in a water
tunnel at moderate Reynolds numbers have been used to check the
notion of extended self-similarity and generalized
extended self- similarity. Experimental evidence is shown that
the self-scaling behavior of structure functions at moderate Reynolds
number ()
is the same as the one expected for fully developed turbulence.
