We explore the possibility of a three-stage scenario of the evolution of the Universe which contains power law inflation and explicitly satisfies the so-called low-gravitational-entropy (GE) conditions at the cosmological singularity. The index of inflation is evaluated. An estimate for the matter entropy of the Universe gives a result which is in reasonable agreement with an observable figure 1088. This paper proves that inflationary cosmologies are compatible in principle with low-GE conditions at the singularity.
