Computational evidence is presented to support the conjecture that any system of
four unit charges () forms a stable molecule provided
two like-sign charges have the same mass, for instance
. Examples are
the positronium molecule (
), the hydrogen molecule
(
), the positronium hydride (
), the exotic
di-muonic system (
), or excitonic molecules in
semiconductors. The result is established using two independent and reliable
variational methods.
