Determination of the three-point correlation function of a passive scalar in the presence of a mean gradient

The problem of mixing of a passive scalar by a Gaussian, isotropic, random velocity field, decorrelated in time, and with a power law scaling of the velocity differences as is considered in the case where the passive scalar is forced by an imposed gradient. The existence of anomalous scaling exponents is established numerically in the whole range . The numerical results agree with perturbative results in the limit and . The angular dependence of the zero mode is briefly discussed.
