We present a new kind of stochastic resonance effect in a system without periodic external force, but perturbed by a multiplicative colored noise. The phenomenon, obtained as a function of the correlation time of the noise instead of the usually considered noise intensity, occurs in a discrete system with a Hopf bifurcation, but could also be observed in a wide range of discrete and continuous models with similar bifurcation behavior.
