We extend previous theoretical results of the literature to compute the electronic Raman spectra in the case of d+s wave superconductivity. We thus can reasonably describe the Raman spectra observed both in orthorhombic YBCO(123) and tetragonal Hg(1212). In particular, there seems to be a significant s-wave component in the latter compound. This may imply a breakdown of tetragonality in the superconducting phase of some superconductors of which crystal symmetry is believed to be tetragonal.
