The temperature dependence of the yield stress of body-centered cubic plutonium
is predicted from data existing for other metals with the same structure.
At strain rates around kink pair formation controls the deformation
of b.c.c. plutonium.
PACS: 62.20.Fe – Deformation and plasticity (including yield, ductility, and superplasticity) / 61.72.Lk – Linear defects: dislocations, disclinations
