Pattern selection in oscillatory media with global coupling

Populations of oscillators that present both local and global coupling can exhibit diffusive instabilities leading to a rich variety of wave patterns. We investigate the selection of these structures near a supercritical Hopf bifurcation described by a modified complex Ginzburg-Landau equation.
