A dual quantum interference device (DQUID) is considered, made from a ring with circulating
vortices and a weak link. A current feeds the center of the ring with a time-dependent
charge . The dual Josephson equations which describe macroscopically
the tunelling of vortices through the weak link are derived.
Various types of the current are considered and the
dual Josephson equations are solved.
