Self-consistent solution for a single vortex in d-wave superconductors

Following Gygi and Schlüter, the self-consistent solution for a single vortex in a d-wave superconductor is constructed. The quasi-particle spectrum consists of bound states and extended states. The quasi-particle density of states around a vortex looks very similar to the one in s-wave superconductors.
