Photoinduced changes of the field of the phase transition from
the antiferromagnetic to the metamagnetic state have been found in
the garnet. This effect is interpreted
as related to the experimentally detected photoinduced magnetic
moment. The observed photoinduced effect persists during a long
time at low temperatures.
