We study the problem of adsorption of a Gaussian polymer in a weak
periodic surface potential. We have found that the localized
states form a band which is described by the quasimomentum, which
lies in the interval, , where a is
the period of the potential.
increases with the
increase of the strength of the potential, and achieve at some
strength the edge of the Brillouin zone, where the polymer is
always localized. We have computed the transversal and the
longitudinal size of the adsorbed polymer and discuss
qualitatively the obtained results.
