Uniform asymptotic approximation of 3D Coulomb scattering wave function

The uniform asymptotic approximation for large η of the exact 3D Coulomb scattering wave function is obtained. This approximation is deduced by using the closed-form expressions of and of its components and in terms of the Coulomb wave functions and their derivatives, obtained in the present letter.
