Non-Markovian kinetics of rapid long-range interprotein electron transfer

Using a lattice Monte Carlo model describing electron tunneling between an electron donor, linked with a β sheet, and an electron acceptor, we show how electron-induced protein reconfiguration may result in non-Markovian features in the long-range electron transfer kinetics.
