Synchronization in a pair of non-identical integrate-and-fire oscillators coupled with exponentially relaxing excitatory stimuli is studied analytically as well as numerically with the focus on 1:1 synchronization. It is found that when the relaxation time τ of each stimulus is finite, increasing the coupling strength causes desynchronization in some parameter range. Scaling behavior of the phase boundary of synchronization is also found for and .
