-pair shell model calculation of even-even isotopes

The SD-pair shell model is applied to study even-even –. It is found that with the SD pair determined as and states of a two-valence-nucleon system with surface-delta interaction, the collectivity of low-lying states can be described reasonably in terms of a three-parameter Hamiltonian.
