The transverse polarization in high-energy inclusive photoproduction at the current fragmentation is calculated in the framework of the quark scattering model. Transverse motion of the incident quarks as well as the leading contribution of heavier resonances are taken into account. Similar results are obtained within the quark recombination approach. All the calculations are compared with experiment.
