The Brownian motor with time delay was investigated. The expression of its current was analytically derived by exploiting the adiabatic approximation in the small time delay. By means of numerical calculations, we found that the time delay can not only make the current be maximum but also induce current inversion, and there is a critical phenomenon about current inversion. Mechanisms of the current inversion were explored from the point of view of modified potential.
