We demonstrate that a class of solutions to an gauge theory uniquely determines a
scalar field theory with mass
. The relationship
connecting the masses of the Higgs and Wand Z bosons is derived. The class of solutions to the
gauge theory and the scalar field theory are found to be in one-to-one correspondence. This relationship may provide a solution to the Higgs hierarchy problem.
