Based on a model that goes beyond the Standard Model, we study quantum effects of the violation of the Lorentz symmetry at a low-energy regime. From a background of the Lorentz symmetry violation determined by a space-like vector field and electric fields, we obtain an attractive inverse-square–type interaction. In addition, we obtain the bound-states solutions to the Schrödinger equation.
