The research on locating the sources that initiate a diffusion process on complex networks has far-reaching significance in various fields. In this paper, we propose the multi-source localization method TPSL based on limited observation nodes from the perspectives of infection time and infection probability. Simulations on both the synthetic and empirical networks demonstrate that TPSL has excellent performance. We also explore the influence of different strategies of selecting observation nodes on the performance of TPSL and find out that selecting the nodes with larger closeness centrality as observers performs best.
