Nonlinear interaction between two soliton pulses consisting of exciton-phonon
coherent fields is observed after propagation in . Each soliton is
formed independently by random photocreation of hot excitons followed by rapid
cooling and Bose-Einstein condensation. The positive interference appears with
a delay attributed to the build-up of a common phase for the wavefunctions.
