The angular distributions for the ions as well as the total flux
have been measured in situ for silver irradiated by a pulsed UV laser at
355 nm. We have determined the distribution of neutrals in the intensity
range from to
for the first time and found that the
well-known peak of ejected particles along the normal is composed of ions
alone.
