The analysis of medium-energy grey protons emitted from ultra-relativistic interactions initiated by
-
at 60 GeV/nucleon and
-AgBr at 200 GeV/nucleon reveals the
existence of emission asymmetry in the azimuthal plane which is found to depend on the target excitation
but to be nearly independent of projectile mass and energy.
