Accepted: 29 November 2001
Recently, one of the present authors developed a current-sheet formation model in magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). In this paper, we investigate the connections between dynamical-system and MHD aspects of this model. For this purpose, we look into the singularity structure of this dynamical system.
