A description of some topological properties of the Reversed Field Pinch (RFP) equilibrium during Quasi Single Helicity (QSH) states is presented. From experimental measurement of the soft X-ray emissivity in the RFX device, maps information on the presence and absence of a magnetic separatrix is obtained. Correlations with the level of magnetic chaos within the plasma are discussed.
