We theoretically investigate the phonon-drag thermopower, Sg, of semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes in the ballistic transport regime. Detailed derivations and numerical calculations for Sg as a function of temperature, tube radius and doping are presented. We find a striking similarity between the behavior of Sg in the ballistic regime and the one reported earlier in the diffusive transport regime.
